JAY Babu got angry—which was unmasked by quick footsteps he retreated back to his seat.
And I salute the collective outcry of the audience in the Hall which achieved this.
If we believe some Social Medias—he was not on the original list of invitees. But he was eager to be present.
JAY Babu—you sold your SPINE thrice. I will produce the account below:
- You sold a part of it to CPI (M) Government, who brought immense poverty to state of Bengal, ruined Industries, left behind a state loan over 2 Lakh Crore Rupees & you were very close to Buddha babu!
- You sold second part of your spine to ABP group, for a secured luxurious life. However– CPI (M) and Buddha Babu were erased from the Political Canvas of Bengal in 2011. MAMATADIDI painted herself there with ‘GHASHFUL’ and TMC.
- And now you sold the last part of your spine to TMC and crawled at the feet of Ms. Mamata Banerjee till 4th May,2026, and even later.
By the way, when fundamentalists first blocked Taslimaji from reciting poetry in Midnapore and harassed her at the Press Club—or when Tipu Sultan Mosque’s Imam Barkati issued a fatwa against her while standing right next to Kolkata Police Commissioner Prasun Mukherjee—you remained silent!
Syed Noor-ur-Rahman Barkati, erstwhile Shahi Imam of Tipu Sultan Mosque of Kolkata, (now removed) issued multiple fatwas against Taslima Nasrin, following her comments on Islam:
2004 Fatwa: He issued a call for public harassment against her and offered a financial reward to anyone who would carry out acts intended to humiliate the author.
2006 Fatwa: He increased the bounty for those who would participate in her public humiliation and demanded her expulsion from India. During a live television broadcast, he further alleged she was a foreign operative disrupting communal harmony in India.
2007 Fatwa: During widespread street protests in Kolkata, he reiterated these demands, insisting she leave the country immediately under threat of physical harm. This time the then CM of the state yielded!!
These rulings earned Barkati the media moniker of the “Fatwa Imam”.
But you, The JAY Goswami the Poet, never protested.
Then, on November 21, 2007, when Taslima was forced to leave the city on single cloth to New Delhi via Jaipur, due to the rampaging of a few extremists like Idris Ali, you continued to be silent too!
THIS WERE YOUR UNEXCUSABLE SINS DURING THAT TIME!
You remained silent for many years after that as well! And you chose to remain seated happily at Mamata Banerjee’s feet, glorified her PSEUDO-INTELLECTUAL FUNCTIONS!
You declared that you admired a politician as intelligent (??)and composed (??) as Abhishek! You ignored the ‘Diamond Model’ and his promise to build Electric Crematorium to roast opponents after election! You turned a blind eye to what was happening to Hindus in Basuldanga, Netra, Sandeshkhali, Murshidabad, and Malda! You ignored the fact that, over fifteen years, two generations were left unemployed due to the corruption of the then ruling party of Bengal! You remained silent even after witnessing the abuse of mothers and sisters at the hands of people like Idris Ali, Hasan Imran, Shawkat Molla, Sheikh Shahjahan, and Jahangir, to name only a few of a long list!
Most of them are in jail after 9th May!
THESE FURTHER ADDED TO YOUR BASKET OF SINS!
Yet, a group of people fought against all of this, sacrificed 350 lives or more, and achieved the impossible—a feat as difficult as climbing Everest—and started a fresh chapter of progress in this ruined state of Bengal. The very force that has brought Taslimaji to this CITY OF JAY and on the Dais of Rabindrasadan, rose to power thanks to the self-sacrifice of those ‘Dadhichis’—the martyrs who gave their lives on the ‘YŪPA’ in the Slaughterhouse of MARX & MULLAS over the past 49 years.
By attending the welcome ceremony—you proved yourself a ‘DHANDABAJ’ too. You wanted to share the glory of her celebration—but remained silent for years, when all along she was hunted!!
Taslimaji might forgive you, but we will not. If most of the accomplished individuals of BENGAL like you raised their voices back then, who knows, history might have taken a different turn. But you didn’t! Instead of igniting the fire of rebellion or voicing protest, you chose to live comfortably by burying your nose deep in the sand dunes through the then reins of power!
That is why we even saw you joining the chorus of scorn and derision against the law granting citizenship to the persecuted or driven out from across the border!
We have seen you on the Dais—protesting against CAA, SIR, along with Mamata Banerji.
WE HAVE FORGOTTEN NOTHING. Nor will we ever forget. We remember it all; we will keep it all in mind. And share it to the future generations for POSTERITY.
There is no place—neither on our stage nor on any stage within our sight—for spineless, emasculated, power-licking ‘Pseudo liberal spineless BI-PEDES’ like you, who are fattened on the money of the ‘Halal Economy’.
Taslimaji may forgive you. HISTORY WILLN’T. And you will find no forgiveness from us also. Because you were, and are loyal to the camps that sought to destroy Sanatan Dharma of Bharatvarsha.
Even then, JAY Goswami, I admire some of your Poems. But I have an ‘Antagonistic Contradiction’ with which you surrendered your ‘VIVEK’ for Creature Comfort And Surrendered To Moral Cowardice!!
Go. Go Back—where you were! We can’t allow you to ‘PIGGY RIDE’ on the back of TASLEEMAJI, whom we brought back in Bengal!!
