कितना राफ़ेल गिरे ??
HOW MANY RAFAELS WERE HIT
SARASIJ MAJUMDER
Before we try to answer the above question, let us look at 1971 WAR—when present LoP’s Grand Mother was P.M. of INDIA.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) then lost a total of 45 aircraft during the 1971 war, including both fighter jets and other aircrafts. This figure is based on unofficial lists compiled from various sources, with one source stating a total of 61 losses. The final tally of 45 losses was reported by SP’s Aviation after the official history of the war was released.
Then, no opposition politician wanted to know: How many Planes we lost in that war.
This man—Raul Maino, is anti-Indian to the core, whereas INDIA gave him everything that one may want to have in life! A borne ‘NAMAK HARAM’ (UNGRATEFUL)!
His question reminds me the famous dialogue of villain ‘GABBAR’ from SHOLAY: –
“:कितने आदमी थे ??:”
His dynasty is the VILLAIN of INDIAN POLITICS, right from his Great Grand Father.
But, let us discuss, about ‘RAFAEL’—WHAT, HOW and WHY??
And before we proceed, we need to know about SPICE BOMBS.
Israel supplied India with the SPICE (Smart, Precise Impact, Cost-Effective) family of precision-guided bombs, including the SPICE-2000, which can strike targets with high accuracy up to 60 kilometers. These bombs are used by the Indian Air Force (IAF) and can be carried on aircraft like the Rafale, SU-30 etc. The SPICE bombs use EO/GPS guidance kits to transform unguided bombs into precision-guided weapons.
SPICE family: This family includes SPICE-250, SPICE-1000, and SPICE-2000, with ranges of up to 100km.
Guidance: SPICE bombs use a combination of electro-optic (EO) and GPS guidance, allowing them to strike targets with pinpoint accuracy.
Autonomous AI: The SPICE system also features autonomous electro-optic Scene-Matching Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for target recognition and guidance.
Usage: India has used SPICE-2000 bombs in its operations, since the 2019 Balakot airstrike.
PLAN: –
Location of Terror camps, targeted, and neutralized: Refer Image.
- Sawai Nala Camp: 30 km from the LoC
- Gulpur Camp: 30 km from the LoC
- Barnala Camp: 9 km from the LoC
- Kotli Abbas: 20 km from the LoC
- Sarjal Camp, Sialkot: 6 km from the border
- Mehmoona Joya: 12-18 km from the border
- Markaz Taiba, Muridke: 18-25 km from the border
- Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur: 100 km from the border (Headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed)
From the above, reader can notice that except ‘MARKAZ SUBHAN ALLAH’—the rest were within the range of ‘SPICE 2000’.
And—possibly, the plan was to hit 8 of them, launching Spice Bombs, deploying Fighter Jets, operating from inside Indian LOC. And IAF used RAFAEL & SU-30 for this mission, on early morning 07/05/2025.
WHAT: – It may be theoretically quite probable that the lost asset is one RAFAEL, while executing this mission. General Anil Chauhan, India’s chief of defense staff, admitted India suffered initial losses in the air, but declined to give details.
“What is important is that… not the jet being downed, but why … being downed,” he told Bloomberg TV on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.
Even if India lost a Rafael, what is the great deal about it??? France must know and remember that they have not equipped India with ‘SOURCE CODE’, without which, India couldn’t equip their Fighter Jet with India’s own deadly Missiles!
HOW: — Based on Chinese information— it is claimed that Pakistan deployed A, B, C method and hit the Indian ‘TARGET’.
In a report on Monday, China Space News said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) deployed a “locked by A, launched by B, guided by C” – a combat system, integrating ground radars with fighter jets, and airborne warning aircraft. Link furnished below.
What is A-B-C method? It appears—the ground-based Air Defense System locked the Indian Target—This is ‘A’. Now a fighter jet, Chinese J-10 C, was in air, and launched a P-15 Missile, aiming the Indian Target—this was ‘B’. And in part ‘C’ —the Missile was guided to ‘home in’ by ‘Airborne Warning Aircraft’ of Pakistan, – which was in Pakistan’s air.
Following may be the sequences, and reasons:
- After the PL-15 is launched, it flies toward the general direction of the target under the guidance of an AWACS or ground-based radar. During this phase, it does not use its own phased-array radar at all.
- As the missile approaches the target, its engine reignites, accelerating it to Mach 5 while simultaneously activating its radar to lock onto the target. This leaves the Indian fighter with only a few seconds to react.
- China claims that the PL-15’s phased-array radar uses different frequencies for each sub-module, disguising itself as background noise. Each sub-module operates at a very low power level, below the detection threshold of the fighter’s warning system.
Now comes— ‘WHY’? —Very simple to answer.
1.0: Possibly, Pilots were not cleared at that mission to attack and destroy Pakistan’s Military Assets. I have got reliable information that the loss was not due to error of Indian ‘PILOT’.
2.0: It is quite possible that Chinese satellites picked up our mobilization, and China alerted Pakistan, and made it ready for ‘A-B-C’ operation. May be, when Pakistan’s readiness was picked up by our Satellites, the ‘DIE WAS CAST’!
3.0: We have not taken down the Air Défense system of Pakistan before we launched our attack on 07/05. Lahore’s ADS was destroyed on 08/05, and others subsequently. And in the attacks then followed—there was no loss.
Possibly—that’s the only BROWNIE POINT which China, and Pakistan can boast of.
But the world know that INDIA made a ‘MOCKERY’ of Chinese ‘HQ-9’, destroyed it, together with Pakistan’s 11 Air Bases, and 13 Military Aircrafts in Pakistan.
Also their NUCLEAR ARSENAL at various locations were made inoperative!
On 10th May, afternoon, Pakistan’s Air Space was without any Défense, and was penetrated by Indian Air Force at will!
Will any sensible country buy any “MILITARY JUNK” produced by CHINA after the exhibit of “OPERATION SINDOOR”??

Informative article that bares open PAK adopted tactile attack of ABC configuration that succeeded perhaps because IAF pilots had not been cleared to attack by then. When ‘A’ could lockin, IAF might have noticed but ‘B’ & ‘C’ followed in split seconds.
* You are right that asking about losses by others is not a practice in war. It is for internal analysis by defence forces.
THANKS

It seems quite logical that ‘A’ tactic of attack by PAF was either not noticed by IAF and rest happened in split seconds or IAF had no clearance then to attack, as perhaps IAF was not expecting that to happen.
* for war one is not to question why, what & why
Very logical conclusion. Thanks for clearing the doubts created by the media and opposition. This now explains why we had a casualty initially.
