As of late November 2025, the Bangladesh National Cricket Team has played 156 Test matches since their debut in November 2000. In these 156 matches, they have secured 25 victories. Their Test journey spans 25 years, including matches against major cricketing nations.
Key Test Statistics (as of Nov 2025):
Total Test Matches: 156.Won: 25. Lost: ~110. Drawn: ~20. Tie-1. On an average, they played 6+ Test Matches per year, winning on an average 1 Match per year, and Won mostly against weak nations. WI, & Zimbabwe mainly lost to them in more than one occasion.
First Test Match: vs India at Dhaka (Nov 2000) . They are yet to win a single test match against India
As of February 2026, Bangladesh has played a total of 455 One Day International (ODI) matches. Their most recent ODI series was against the West Indies in October 2025. Most Played Opponent: Bangladesh has played against Zimbabwe the most frequently, with 81 matches (51 wins, 30 losses).Overall Win Percentage is 35.82%. Usually, they lost against major teams consistently.
As of 15 February 2026, the Bangladesh men’s national cricket team has played a total of 212 Twenty20 International (T20-I) matches. Win Percentage is 40.57%. And, again against mostly weak teams.
Bangladesh has not won any world Cup, or Asia Cup, even once in 25 years.
Late Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya brought the weak cricket team called Bangladesh Cricket Team to the international map. He used his good offices, and influence to do that. Good that he is not alive to see their “BE-IMANI”. Now Mr. Jay Shah should know what he should do.
My Proposal:
ICC shall make three stratas in Cricket playing nations. First strata shall consist of India, South Africa, Australia, Newzeland, and U.K.
Second strata shall consist of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe.
Rest shall form the third strata.
Bangladesh has committed unpardonable offence by consistently misbehaving with India, and Indian team.
The people of Bangladesh should know that ICC earns 21,793 crore Indian rupees annually. Of this income, BCCI pays 18,760 crore Indian rupees. And, BCB has a share of only 425 crore Indian rupees only.
Outside Bangladesh—nobody is interested to see their matches.
And I fully blame Shah-Ruk Rahman for creating a nuisance intentionally, using a strong headed Muslim Cricketer from Bangladesh. When no other team picked up a Bangladeshi—why he did? Particularly—when Bangladesh are killing Hindus in their country right, left, and center?? It is obvious that Hindus of India will not like it.
Pakistan was also trying to catch fish in dirty water! Yesterday they lost to India very badly!
This super-candy Mumbai Hero, whose son was once linked to DRUG, should be punished for committing an act, which cause international trouble for India, ICC, and BCCI.
